Please support the NCIMS Relay for Life Team by ordering a t-shirt.  The deadline for orders, along with payment, will be Tuesday, March 7.  The cost is $15.00 per shirt (ADD $3.00 for 2X and $4.00 for 3X sizes).  Order forms went home with students, and are also available in the front office.  Payment will be accepted by cash or checks.  Checks can be made out to NCIMS.

This is a photograph of student Connor V. who placed third in his individual event at the 2016-17 Math Counts competition.

Connor V. placed third in the individual competitions.

 

The NCIMS MathCounts Team competed against fifteen other schools from around the region on Saturday, February 11, at Snyder Baptist Church in Fayetteville. Students competed individually in a Sprint round and a Target round with NCIMS 8th grader Connor V. placing third and heading to the state competition in the individual events. The team then competed in a Group round, placing second overall, which qualifies them to go to States as a team on Friday, March 17, at the North Carolina School of Science and Math in Durham, as well. Congratulations to our MathCounts team and coach on their outstanding performance!
