Fayetteville Mayor Mitch Colvin speaks with students.February was Career and Technical Education(CTE) month.  In honor of that, Fayetteville Mayor, Mitch Colvin, visited New Century International Middle School to speak with our CTE students about careers and the importance of education.  He told the students about his background and how he got started in politics and why it’s important to give back to your community.  Mayor Colvin stated, “I was told to never say never; you never know what tomorrow may hold”.   The students were able to ask him questions ranging from education, careers, and politics.  Mayor Colvin gave the students insightful information on how to stay focused and reach their goals.
