The Art students are “turning over a new leaf” this year at NCIMS!  Students created a leaf that lists behaviors on the back they will change or improve and positive behaviors on the front they will adopt this school year.  Each artistic representation also includes a stylized expression of their name on an autumn colored leaf!  #positivityproject

Cover image of the books Saraswati's WayAuthor Monika Schroder will be visiting NCIMS on Thursday, October 19, 2017.  Students who purchase her books will get to attend a Meet and Greet with Monika Schroder where they will have the opportunity to get their books signed by the author.*

All students will be reading Saraswati’s Way by Monika Schroder in their ELA classes as part of the “One School One Book” movement, so it would benefit the students to have their own copies on hand for classwork and homework.  Each teacher will only have one class set available to use at school only.  Saraswati’s Way has been named one of the middle school Battle of the Books titles multiple times since being published!

*Students must have their books at school on October 19, 2017, in order to have them signed.

Click here for the Order Form for Monika Schroder’s books.
